Često me sin pita: „Mama, šta je to JAT?“.

Happiness is Something That Can be Learned

Does money really make us happy? Are children our absolute happiness? Is love the key of happiness? Why are some people happy, while others are not? Is there a formula for happiness?

We, the people born in the hilly Balkans, have been LEARNING for years how to be happy.

After twenty years, we understood that grudge will not make us happy and therefore we began to listen to smarter and more experienced people. We understood that happiness is often in our hands, but that we do not know how to use it.

My son often asks me: “Mum, what is JAT?” It is not easy to explain to a six year old child why it is written “Serbia” on our passports and “JAT” on the planes!!! I am glad that after two decades we obtained our national airline, AIR SERBIA.

It was worth waiting for the Arab Spring, because now we have our identity at all airports in Europe and beyond.

Dear readers, the third number of The Globe magazine has been published, with plenty of collocutors and subjects from the entire region.

Third time lucky??? Who invented this wise maxim? What does it hide? Is it a matter of weakness or is it true that dreams come true at the third attempt.

We have been promised twice a better tomorrow, but instead of a BETTER tomorrow, they gave us a NEVER COMING tomorrow. One full year has elapsed since we got a completely new government, with very few reconstructions. New promises are made everyday and that makes us happy. We will support and accept all the changes, whatever they are, because we wish a happier tomorrow. We just still have to believe that it will be so. Of course, Europe has recognized us for the third time as one of the leading Balkan countries, which can achieve at least three promised items, out of those ten that were offered.

The TRIAD of happiness is: to HAVE, to LOVE and to BE (to EXIST). We have a Government supported by the majority and we love our leaders, i.e. we exist.
